WORKING WITH VISUAL ARTISTS
NOJ BARKER, England
I contacted painter Noj Barker (www.nojbarker.com) to ask for clearance to put music to a video clip that I found on the internet that was attributed to him. And from there he welcomed the idea, and put me in touch with Luluxx (www.instagram.com/luluixix) who actually created the video using Noj Barker’s original paintings.
We spoke and worked out a way that I could use the whole footage. This resulted in the music video you see above for the single I released called Last Chance.
HUMANFRACTAL, Berlin
Michael, aka humanfractal has an instagram account that I followed and I asked if he would be willing to work with me to create the video for my upcoming single The Infinite Simplicity of Grief. It took a couple of months of demos and discussions and we found the final result to be the most satisfying!
The music is being reacted to on different layers using computer generated images.
WORKING WITH MUSICIANS
AMADEUS PAULUSSEN, Switzerland
Amadeus is a musician producer who I’d known for a while, but never met yet. He has written and recorded a number of electronica albums. https://amadeuspaulussen.com
I sent him a piano piece that I had been working on and asked him if he would like to work on it together, with him arranging and producing the track.
We talked over messages and skype and ended up with a piece that we were both really happy with.
SPLIT PERSONS
Formed in 2012 in Kent, England. Indie-Rock group consisted of myself as the singer songwriter & guitarist; Danny Hewis keyboardist & singer and Bryan Gammelgard-Baker, Drum Kit.
We produced a four track EP, Unwelcome Friend, that can be streamed below.
PAUL TERRY ENSEMBLE
Formed in 2006 as a project to include an element of improvisation, where the musicians were able to interpret my score in a way that made every performance different.
